Closer should feel more meaningful.
Millions of people in urban India live in gated societies: thousands of neighbours, shared lifts, shared festivals, and somehow no easy way to meet the person three towers over. Dating apps answer with reach. A wider radius, a bigger city, more strangers. We think that is the wrong direction.
Sektrr goes the other way. One society. Only verified residents. Nothing visible to anyone outside the gate. When everyone inside made it past the same gate you did, closeness stops being a risk and starts being the point.
That only works if privacy is engineered, not promised. So we show less by default, reveal more only on mutual consent, and never expose where exactly anyone lives. Our one principle, written into the brand before the first line of code: closer should feel more meaningful, not more invasive.
We are starting small, one society at a time, and we would love yours to be next.
