Terms of service

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be a genuine resident of the society you verify against, and able to prove it.
• You must not have been previously removed from Sektrr for a safety violation.
• One account per person. No accounts created on behalf of someone else.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. Tell us immediately at support@sektrr.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Using Sektrr means agreeing to our community guidelines. In short: be who you say you are, respect the privacy of neighbours, and never harass, threaten or misrepresent yourself. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules, without notice where safety requires it.

We verify residence before a profile becomes visible, but verification confirms residence, not character. Meeting anyone, including a verified neighbour, carries the same real-world care that meeting any stranger does. Our safety centre has guidance for meeting in person.

Sektrr is free to join. If we introduce paid features in future, pricing, billing terms and refund rules will be presented before you pay for anything, and core safety tools will never sit behind a paywall.

You can delete your account at any time from account settings, without needing to give a reason. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our community guidelines, particularly for safety violations, and removal for a safety violation applies across all societies on Sektrr.

Sektrr is provided "as is". We work to verify residents and keep the platform safe, but we cannot guarantee the conduct of any member and are not liable for interactions that happen outside the app. To the extent permitted by the laws of India, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Sektrr is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore.
