How to plan a walking group that sticks

A simple loop, a consistent time, and a group chat is all it takes to turn strangers into familiar faces.
The most successful community groups aren't the ones with the most elaborate plans, but the most consistent ones. If you want to start a walking group, commit to a schedule and stick to it.
Start small: 'Every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 AM by the main gate.' Don't wait for everyone to confirm; just show up. Consistency builds trust. Over time, neighbours will see you, know when to join, and feel comfortable dropping in.
Use Sektrr's Community mode to put the word out. Keep the pace conversational, welcome newcomers warmly, and don't make attendance mandatory. A good walking group is as much about the chat as it is about the steps.
